Matisse Remix Digital Art by Max Chandler

Borrowing the remix idea from music Chandler takes a fresh look at a few Matisse paintings.Fragments are extracted, rescaled and reoriented. Fragments are recolored with colors from the painting. The results are new works of art that subtly echo their origin.
